Mom told me that your site was updated so I had to check it out. Very cool. Simple but creative. Thank you for all of the things you have taught me since I met you a few years ago. I will always consider you one of my inspirations for starting my company. Knowing another local like you can make it as far as you have makes me realize my options are endless as long as i act on my words and not just say them for people to hear!

Thank you for your moving comments! CC-how could I forget you...look forward to seeing you again tonight..and hearing your exquisite voice..Ryan...''the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.'' You have everything in you to be an incredible success within the music industry that you long to be...because you have integrity, and want to help other's succeed as well. In my mind, that is a very high calling!
So tonight's the big event in Monroe, NY. I hope to see many of you there...the music is Heavenly!!! Thanks to all who have supported it these many years...
Hey..and thanks to Gina Kosak, ''the web Queen'' for getting my site up to date, she originally designed it.
Gina keeps reminding me that I have to share with y'all, my story of meeting Carlos Santana, my hero!
So, I get on a plane, and who's sitting there but Carlos...now anyone who knows me knows how superstitious I am, and that I 'read' signs in everything...so I'm thinking to myself...''Now this is a great sign.''
We get off the plane, and he's standing near 'baggage claim', (got to love the man for that)...so I think to myself; ''If I don't go up to him and tell him how much his music has inspired me, will I regret it?'' Of course the answer was ''YES!'' So I walk over, tell him how I feel, my friend tells him I'm a singer, and I boldly tell him that one of my dreams has always been to jam with him onstage. Well the man looks me straight in the eye, and proceeds to have this full conversation with me about the state of the world. I mean actually engages me, implores me to keep singing. He was talking about how much fear there was in the world, and that he had a feeling that music was going to be the healing response to that fear...he told me to ''keep doing what you're doing, and I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.''
He was clearly so concerned..and felt like his mission was to just be himself, and continue making beautiful music even in the face of fear. I could feel his care, his presence, and I felt that he shared this message with me from such a deep, soulful place. Needless to say, it was a highlight for me in this life..
Okay, I know this is a long story, but I was ''testing'' out my theory of this being a sign, being not only superstitious, but obviously dense! So I said to myself, ''if this is a sign, then let me run into him again.'' Now folks, what are the chances? Hmmm..well a few short days later, we're gorging on the most sumptuous sushi, and who walks in the restaurant? That's right..my musical messenger from Heaven...
Mr. Carlos Santana. ''Okay, okay, you don't have to hit me over the head with it...music for healing...I'm on it!'' Love you all...-Joy

I miss you! You have been such a great teacher to me. Your spirit, your soul, and your music are beautiful. I'm so happy to have been able to recieve all the amazing wisdom and help that you gave me during my PS 2 year. CC sent out an e-mail to us about your performance in NY. How Grand!
